Our friendly and highly qualified team leader is a 4 times New Zealand Paragliding Champion. He has over 30 years aviation experience. The Coronet Peak take offs are the highest commercial take off points for Queenstown Paragliding activities. You'll be in completely safe and experienced hands on this experience of a lifetime! 


After a few steps down a gentle slope, experience the thrill of flying freely. You will be harnessed into your comfortable front row seat with your experienced pilot taking the controls behind you. Have an exhilarating joy ride or a relaxed scenic flight with a
breath-taking view.

You will be able to select an optional Instructional Extra. This is for those that would like to learn a little bit more about paragliding and have a hands-on experience to fly the glider themselves (conditions permitting).


FREE courtesy transport from Queenstown to Coronet Peak and return operates all year round.


Photos and videos of your flight are a great memory and available to purchase after the flight. Speak to your pilot about this.

What to wear: Please wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing.


Covid Update 3/12/2021: 

Coronet Peak Tandems operates tandem paragliding flights on ALL alert levels. Vaccine Certificates are required on alert level orange and red, no certification is required on alert level green. 

As we are now in the orange setting of the new NZ Covid Protection Framework here in Queenstown, we do require our guests to present their vaccination certificate at check in time.

The wearing of masks is not mandatory. Contact tracing is important in NZ’s fight against Covid. You must complete at check in time.

Our OPENING DAYS are Thursdays till Mondays. (Tuesdays and Wednesdays we are closed except for the 28th and 29th of December 2021 and the 4th and 5th of January 2022.)
